We advise you to book your transportation from the Internet or from your local travel agent to visit our beautiful region Provence Alpes Cote d’Azur. We take care of all your tours once you have arrived in your destination city.

The services of PROVENCE-FRENCH -RIVIERA -TOURISM start from the arriving city (day 1) and end on the last day from the departure city. We can add and arrange your transfers from your airport or your arrival train station in Provence Côte d’Azur, and integrate as you wish all options possible: host of benefits, transfers or car rental. Most of our programs include a car rental option to leave you with more freedom in your travel.

By plane, you will arrive in Nice or Marseille. (In summer, other airports are available in the PACA region) These two cities are both connected to numerous French and international cities by international airlines and are low cost.

A major air service with two major international airports:

- “Nice Côte d’Azur” is the second busiest French airport with more than 10.5 million passengers per year.

- “Marseille Provence” is the third busiest provincial airport behind Nice and Lyon, with over 7.4 million passengers per year.

Its terminal is dedicated to low cost airlines, “MP2″ is the only one in France reserved to offer low-cost transport (1.4 million passengers / year).

Airports of “Toulon-Hyères” (579,000 passengers / year) and “Avignon Provence” (40 000 passengers / year) complete the regional system with their international routes.

 

By train, take the TGV from Paris to Marseille in 3 hours and Nice in 5 hours and it also serves all the cities of the French Riviera.

With TVG train stations of Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, Marseille, the region is connected to the major French and European capitals, direct transport offers put Marseille in 3 hours, Avignon in 2 and a half hours and Aix-en-Provence in 2 hours 50 minutes from Paris.

Regional Express Transport (TER) and Regional Express Lines (LER) are used to connect most of the towns in the area between them.

A dense road network (2,500 km): the region Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur has a position on the crossroads of east-west axis (A8 and A9) and north-south with the A7.

 

The visa

Before you book your trip in the south of France, if you need a passport or visa to travel on French territory, please contact the Embassy or French Consulate to undertake the necessary formalities as soon as possible.  Taking into account the imposed delays and cancellation policy stated in our terms and conditions in order not to expose you to unnecessary costs.

Regarding the vaccines we advise you to check with the Embassy or Consulate in your country or your travel agency for your own requirements.

 

Sports equipment tips:

According to the activities you have chosen, we advise you to put in your luggage the following equipment:

Comfortable clothing appropriate for the season and practical activities.

Comfortable, waterproof shoes, tailored to the practical activities: Flexible for walks with stiff sole for hiking in the mountains, lugged outsole for mountain biking etc.

 

A small backpack to carry your equipment for the day and your personal items (hats, sunglasses, salary cream, camera, binoculars etc.)

A filled bottled water.

In the summer season, a pair of plastic sandals is useful to be able to swim and cool off easily in the creeks or clear water pools.

The equipment is included in the price of our days of activities supervised by professionals and will be provided by them in connection with your activities. (Hydro, canoeing, rafting, sky diving, kite surfing, climbing, mountain biking, tennis …)

Health, according to the activities you have chosen for your stay, we recommend that you prepare yourself to be fit on the day of departure. Ideally you should start to prepare, to ensure a nice health condition at least two months before your departure. Moreover, a stress test with a cardiologist may be relevant if you decide to take part in sports activities during your vacation.
